The Nutrisystem Diet When You Don’t Have Much To Lose

I sometimes hear from would be dieters who realize that they are luckier than most because they only have a little bit of weight to lose. Lucky for them, they are not one of those people who need to lose several clothing sizes or over 50 pounds. No, they’d just be happy with going down a size or two, toning up some, and having the waist on their jeans and the arms on their shirt fit a little more loosely. A lot of people seem to have the perception that Nutrisystem is for those who started out very overweight. These stories give every one hope, but plenty of people go on Nutrisystem to lose small amount of weight like 10, 15, or 20 pounds, etc.
This is not an extremely low calorie diet. Nor is it a drastic one. The 5 meal times per day is designed to help your body lose weight relatively quickly but also sensibly. Most agree that a 2-3 pound weight loss per week on nutrisystem is doable. At this rate, you’d be at that a 10 -15 pound weight loss in only a month and you wouldn’t have to make extreme sacrifices because you’d be eating the comfort foods like the ravioli, pizza, mac and cheese and hot dogs that are on the Nutrisystem menu.
Another good thing about having a smaller amount of weight to lose is that you will have to place less orders. And if you think you may need more than a month, you can always order again if you need to, but wait to evaluate yourself after you go through the whole package. You might find that you are pleasantly surprised. There are a good number of people who use this diet for small amounts of weight and this is probably because those last small amounts that linger and just won’t come off are the hardest to get rid of and sometimes require special diet or exercising.
The good news is that you basically only order the food until you’ve met your weight loss goal and there’s no membership fee or anything else to buy. Sometimes, a small 2 – 4 week package is enough to get you the results that you want. So yes, Nutrisystem can be very good for people who only have a little bit of weight to lose, and the loss will often occur more quickly as well simply because you won’t need as many weeks of cumulative weight loss to reach your goal.
